U15's Tour to Cardiff 2010
Nov 2nd, 2009, 3:02pm

The wheels have been set in motion for the U15's tour to Cardiff.
We have already dubbed it the shoestring tour, so perhaps all those who can must sport a dodgy 'tache after the tv tec.

People in Cardiff would find it hard to believe that Buckinghamshire folk need to go on "shoestring tours", so you've all got your excuses for not joining Bruce in his hair lip project. On the other hand is there a sponsorship route here?

I can see how Bruce would quite suit that look....but I think I'll give it a miss.  Tongue

Where's your tour spirit?
Would you rather shave your head?
Dye you hair green and red?
How about sewing a chip on each shoulder since we're in Wales?
Or maybe gel your hair and apply fake tan?

I have a photograph of myself from the seventies looking horrendously alike Mr Trevor Eve in Bruce's picture. I may bring it up on Sunday. It will probably turn us all off Bruce's generous offer to grow a tache for sponsorship purposes. Once you see me you will know what Bruce can provide and fork out your cash accordingly. I think we're on a winner here. Perhaps Carole has some old photos of Bruce.........................
In Wales we eat chips. We don't wear them.

Look what these bastards have done to Wales. They've taken our coal, our water, our steel. They buy our homes and live in them for a fortnight every year. What have they given us? Absolutely nothing. We've been exploited, raped, controlled and punished by the English — and that's who you are playing this afternoon

Harsh Bruce, I know. But absolutely true. I think it was a little stronger as well in truth. But I look forward to giving you a tour of the homeland. I know a number of people who are looking forward to meeting you too. They can't believe an Englishman loves rugby so much. And I believe the final line was "And may I remind you gentlemen that it is these bastards we are playing this afternoon". We lost.

No, no, I believe you won.

And I believe Phil Bennet was the best fly half that I have ever seen. When you consider the act he had to follow it's even more remarkable.

Any more details on the tour?....e.g. where parents will stay.
There's concern in the Cook household that Year 10's will have exams around that time but I can't find any exam dates anywhere.

Is the tour on or off? Last we heard there were only nine players going.

Today is the last gasp day. At the moment we have 15 players. The Adjutant believes we need 18. Please bear with me one more day.
